Residential Director

Eric Swinehart

I grew up in northwest of Chicago in a town called Lake Zurich.  I completed my undergraduate degree at Ball State University where I focused in Telecommunications, Marketing, & Leadership Studies.  After Ball State I went to graduate school at Eastern Illinois University where I received a master’s of science in College Student Affairs which I can share more about in training.  I have been at Northwestern the last two years and am excited to continue to be in the Southwest Area. I care about the work I do, I love coffee, I am a big fan of trying new food/exploring the city, and I love to watch TV

Aside from having my head in computers all day, I enjoy playing tennis and soccer. Hailing from a wide variety of cities and countries, but most recently from Novi, Michigan, I am a senior at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL pursuing a degree in mathematics and economics. On campus, I work as a mentor for my peers in calculus and have worked closely with Northwestern Residential Services as a Residential and Conference Assistant, as well as having served as a Research Assistant for the Center for Academic Initiatives. A significant hobby of mine is piano and classical music, as up until very recently I was also pursuing a degree in piano performance with the Bienen School of Music here at NU!
